In a couple more weeks I'll be in the third trimester already and I am starting to get really anxious about things. Like the fact that we have not even started on Max's new room, much less the new baby's room, or the fact that we are nowhere even CLOSE to picking a name. Nowhere. I know that I have the rest of the summer and probably another month after that to get this done, but I am practically twitching (and probably REALLY annoying my husband).
So let's talk baby names. Waaay back in the day when I was pregnant with Max :) I posted a a poll of names and apparently people love baby names because I have had a dozen people ask me if I am going to do it again this time?! I had no idea, I just wanted to try out having a poll on my blog. :) Anyway, I was able to log in to the poll website and view the names I had posted then... turns out Max was #3 on the list out of 10, after Ty and Evan. I think we had already decided on Max at that time anyway, but it's fun to see what people like.
Girl names are much harder for us. Obviously we had a boy name that was a definite front-runner; it figures. I am not a person that announces the name before the baby is born, I personally like the surprise when other people are having babies. I mean, if you are one of those people who decided on a name when you were four weeks pregnant and let everyone know, that is cool and I am jealous of how decisive you are, I am just not that person. And I think for me, it's easier to like a name when there is a cute little baby with it rather than just the idea of a cute little baby to come. Anyway, all this to say that some of these are names that one of us may kind of like but we would never use, and then some are probably actual possibilities, but I'm not going to tell you which. Oh, and if you have OTHER ideas, please leave them in the comments... I am accepting anything at this point... they just have to go with Max, and Berrisford. :)

oooooh great Idea! I am going to steel the poll idea if you dont mind:).. Dont worry.. we are due the same day and have not completed anything yet either.. yes I am starting to get anxious and then I realize its the rest of the summer but still. we are also having the same problem with baby names.. it didnt seem this hard with boy names!
I have no idea how I found myself on your blog (a long evening of wandering from blog to blog following links) but I did want to mention that my boyfriend loves the name Max for a boy & Emma for a girl. Anyway, congratulations on your upcoming baby girl. =)
Oddly enough, girl names are much easier for me. Kate was in our top 3 if Cam had been a girl so I voted for that. I like Eva too. Evelyn (Eve) would have been high on our list but my friend Lindsey "claimed" that name when we were in about 3rd grade.
I think Finley is interesting but very Wendy Pepper and I'm not sure I could get over the correlation :)
Also someone told me that you had already decided on Willow...maybe I was misinformed.
I love Kendall - it was on our (make that my) list for Callie. I also liked Macy. Others I like: Harper, Piper, Rowan, Myla, Briar and my secret favorite which Brad would have NEVER gone for, Rio. Someone posted above about Willow, love that too.
I (Jesse) like the name Lux for a girl. It goes with Max and Berrisford and if you pick a middle name that starts with M then her initials will be LMB.
I like Hazel... a name I've never really thought of until last weekend when I met the most wonderful woman named Hazel. I think it's a classic name that hasn't become popular. Good luck, you can't go wrong! And congrats on expecting a little girl! :)

I think Ellie should be on that list ~ Ellie is a FANTASTIC name and is still unique.
